Remember we got two days of Grossfest this year folks so when we were able to connect the west coast with the east coast you know we couldn’t pass up accomplishing a goal we set out to do six years ago. Saying that we have a very special guest being added to our already packed Grossfest 2024 convention as their career is soaring high! Based out of L.A., California some of yinz may know this multi-talented individual who is a writer, director, producer, digital content creator, and recently started their own studio. This person may have accomplished so much in so little time but also it can be said that they have only just begun? Some Grossfest fans may know this person for their acting work in Arachnado 2: Flaming Spiders, 10/31, 10/31 Part 2, Amityville in the Hood, or Amityville Karen, or their producing work with Malvolia: The Queen of Screams or After Hours Cinema series, or their writing work for The Dark Web Tapes and Theatre of the Deranged III, or even better yet their directing work of segments for films Gore Theatre and 2 to Die For but also for their latest segment in the Body Count film? For those who may have not heard we have another special guest coming to Grossfest making their first Pittsburgh convention appearance! This person is a writer, director, and actor whose career has spanned at least four decades now. This talented person has been known to act in such Indy films: Psycho Vampire, Hung Jury, Psycho Sisters, and Easter Bunny Bloodbath 2: No More Tears, but also directed films like: An Ex-Hooker’s Christmas Carol, Deep Undead, and The Blue Hole which they are putting the finishing touches on as we speak. But this person might be known to Indy fans most for being the founder of Sharkey Video and his talented underwater camera work of the feature Deep Undead that just got a wonderful rerelease recently we are delighted to introduce all of yinz to Dave Castiglione!

So for our latest guest announcement is someone who is on the rise big time in the independent horror community. They have been killing it as they have acted in over 40 films since 2017 and show no sign of slowing down. This guest of ours has acted in such films: Cannibal Hookers, The Embalmers, Bigfoot Exorcist, Satan Lives: The Rise of the Illuminati Hotties, Debbie Does Demons, Murdercise (with Drew Marvick), CarousHell 3, and has several more that are gonna be released over the next year or so like Crackcoon and The Legend of Crick Foot! Before we get to our next announcement there is some important news and sad to say The Mummy and The Monkey cannot attend Grossfest 2024. Because of their rising national and international success as horror host and hostess they are in high demand. As Janet said to us, “The Cleveland motto is maybe next year”, her words not ours, lol. Anyway all is good as we plan to bring this talented duo Janet and James (The Mummy and The Monkey) in for 2025 Grossfest! In all seriousness, we all know life tends to throw us curve balls and that is no different with horror conventions but don’t worry Grossfest fans we are in constant contact with this wonderful duo and plan to have them at one of our shows.
